Wonder Blast

Wonderblast Intro

A close-up shot of an old man's hand, writing a letter.

EXT. VOICE

There are some places, when you step inside, you instantly feel the magic in the air.

The camera zooms out from the letter. We see old pictures spread on a wooden table. The camera slowly starts focusing on them one by one.

1st picture

We see a theme park entrance from a wide-angle, full of people standing in lines.

2nd picture

Little Willie Wilson (7-8 years old version of grown-up Willie, wearing almost the same outfit) walks on the main street, similar to Disneyland's. He holds "The Booster Hammer" in his hands while smiling at the camera.

EXT. VOICE

Wonderville is one of those magical places. People come here, have fun, and always leave with a smile.

3rd picture

A vivid, wide-angle nighttime shot of the park with flickering, shining lights coming from the theme park attractions. The park is still considerably crowded.

EXT. VOICE

Ever since I could remember, I've worked for that smile, but nothing lasts forever.

4th picture

We look at the main street from the top. The people in the picture slowly fade away until we are left with the image of an empty street, a dust ball slowly rolling.

EXT. VOICE

Now it's time for me to move on. With this letter, I'm leaving Wonderville to you, son.

5th picture

We are at the entrance of the park. It looks deserted and in shambles. The letter "W" on the sign is loose, swinging.

EXT. VOICE

I trust you to restore it back to its glorious days. Remember, no matter what happens, make people smile.

The camera slowly zooms in on the 5th picture and goes through the frame. Now we are in the present, looking at the same gate which looks even more ragged, almost forgotten. Then, Willie Wilson enters the scene with a confident smile and walks with a swagger towards the gate.
